Dimapur, March 15 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Saturday received a written memo from Station Manager, NF Railway Dimapur stating that one person was found run over by a running train at km 253/7-8 towards Rangapahar end.
Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur in a press release stated that on receiving the memo, the duty Officer along with duty party rushed to the spot and found one unidentified non-local male age around 40-45 yrs (approx) lying dead outside the Rail Track suspected to be knocked down by a running train.
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Morgue for PM examination and identification.The deceased was wearing blue track pant, blue sweater with yellow t-shirt and white sneaker. He had dark complexion.
