One solution with all Naga groups – PM told

Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): The government of India is told to be sincere by a group of senior citizens and conclude the Naga political issue by coming up with a “one go solution” by “incorporating all the Naga political groups.” The Concerned Naga Senior Citizens issued to the Media a copy of a “memorandum” addressed to the prime minister of India, Manmohan Singh today.

The senior citizens noted reports about the prime minister ruling out the NSCN’s “core demands” as reportedly told to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio during a meeting with the prime minister in New Delhi. According to the senior citizens, the prime minister told the CM: “Whatever is possible will be possible even after 100 years but whatever is not possible will not be possible even after 100 years.” The PM further reportedly told the chief minister to urge the Naga organizations to be “reasonable.”

The Concerned Naga Senior Citizens have urged the government of India to “concentrate to the present hard earned ceasefire and peace process with the NSCN and be concluded an honorable political solution to the world’s longest political imbroglio by incorporating all the Naga political groups in one go solution once for all at the earliest.”

The senior citizens expressed shock at what they called the Central government’s ‘fickle and stagger attitude.”

“It is a time to strictly adhere upon them by the GoI and seriously see that they are steadfastly implemented instead of talking about possibilities and impossibilities even after 100 years failing which India is ought to bereave its credibility before the whole worlds as the weakest political-will country,” the senior citizens explained in their own words.
