Executive Director-Basin Manager of ONGC’s Assam and Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat, Sushma Rawat inaugurated the ventilators donated by ONGC, Jorhat work center to CIHSR on July 3.
Dimapur, July 3 (MExN): Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, the ONGC, Jorhat work center donated three ventilators to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) Dimapur.
ONGC spent Rs 19.80 lakh for procuring the ventilators, according to a press release from the Director CIHSR, Dimapur. This initiative has helped to save the lives of countless patients in Dimapur in the wake of COVID pandemic, the release informed.
In a brief function held on July 3 in CIHSR, Dimapur, Executive Director-Basin Manager of ONGC’s Assam and Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat, Sushma Rawat inaugurated the ventilators, in the presence of DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan.
Speaking on the occasion, Rawat expressed ONGC’s commitment to the entire region of NE, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.
She also expressed keen interest in skill development of the poor and underprivileged and said that she would like to reach out and help not only in Dimapur but also in the remote villages. She thanked the hospital workers for their dedication and sacrifice during the global pandemic while expressing hope for more opportunities to work together.
