Sub: An appeal to rectify/clarify the requirement /eligibility criteria of Hindi Teachers.

With reference to the subject cited above we, on behalf of the Government Hindi Institute Students Union Dimapur would like to place few points before your esteem authority that, will the Govt. taking keen interest to fill-up the vacant post of Hindi Teachers, we have found the following to clarify Advertisement Vide NO. EDS/ESTT/HINDI/20-7/2016/1318 Dated Kohima 18th December 2019.
As per advertisement Serial No. 1 (a) we wonder why the department is not accepting class 10+2 equivalent Hindi qualification whereas it is mention in eligibility criteria as equivalent course passed from the recognized board.
The department is well aware that prior to 2017 for Hindi Teachers Diploma Course. The eligibility criteria was class 10 pass only, as per the criteria almost all the pass students were given admission for 3 years Diploma course and they were not aware of the compulsory of 10+2 (General) it required. Therefore, those Diploma holders who are having only class 10 pass certificates should also be given relaxation with some condition to fulfill the NCTE/MHRD.
In the year 2018-2019 only as per the department advertisement 10+2 students were admitted for 2 years D.EL.ED (Praveen Course) however it is not followed in the spirit till date and they are asked to go 3 years Diploma course which is contrary to the advertisement. It is also wastage of 1 year extra even after completion of 10+2 with Hindi or 10+2 along with Kovid/Praveen etc. therefore, this category of aspirant candidates must also be allowed to appear the interview since they are pursuing for training course, if not discrepancies remain on tackled. Such practice are considered even others post recruiting agencies.
Concerning the 45% of marks, if considered those 10+2 Hindi equivalent courses is well and good and it should be clearly mentioned in the advertisement, but it is not clearly mention further well considering the mark aggregate the percentage of class 12 general and Hindi equivalent 10+12 course must be taken into consideration since the equivalent Hindi course has been accepted in the norms of requirement.
Hence to avoid injustice to every aspirant applying for the post, we request your banning authority to look into the above grievances point and do the necessary action for benefit of one and all.
