The NPF led DAN leadership is very much aware of the fact that the department of Horticulture has rocked the entire Legislative Assembly for various charges of Administrative mismanagement and other various irregularities including embezzlement of fund meant for farmers. Thus under such tempo of corruption in the department, there is nothing worth to mention of physical achievements nor have left any impact for poor rural economy development by the department despite the government of India having undertaken most feasible schemes including High Technological Mission (CSS).
The government although have already instituted two enquiry commission under the relevant Rules 1967, the follow up actions and corrective measures to discipline the erring public servants who are involved in such illegal duties remain under cold storage and for which the NPF led DAN Government who is in charge of Department taking full advantage of such prolonged procedure adopted by the government for prompt action have deliberately monopolized the whole power of Directorate making the Department more miserable and in confusion.
Therefore, in the interest of all and the state the undersigned appeal to the Hon’ble CM in particular to spell out corrective action against such corruption culture and also to depute experienced and qualified Director for Horticulture Department to ensure that 2006 as the Year of the Farmers has really become meaningful and beneficial with the involvement of sincere and integrated public servants.
