Dimapur, January 12 (MExN): Several organizations on Friday came forward condemning the alleged murder of a woman by her husband in Heningkunglwa Village under Peren district on January 10.
The Nzaunalui Baudi, in the strongest term, condemned the gruesome murder and stated, “Such inhuman act done to his own wife and his children’s mother and above all a human being cannot be tolerated by the Baudi.”
The Baudi maintained that it shall leave no stone unturned, so that the culprit is awarded a maximum punishment as per the law of the land.
The Southern Zeme Organization Kohima also condemned what it termed as “barbaric murder” and urged the law enforcing agency not to let the culprit out on any ground but rather take appropriate action as per the law.
The Nzauna Student's Union Nagaland viewed that the “ghostly” murder in their home by her own husband was so horrific which no civilized human being can think of doing on his own wife.
While condemning the inhuman act in the strongest of terms, the union urged the law enforcing agencies not to take the matter lightly but award befitting punishment according to the law.
The three organizations also conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
