Participants of World Mental Health Day at Oriental College Kohima on October 10.

Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The Oriental College Kohima in collaboration with District Mental Health Program NHAK Kohima observed World Mental Health Day on October 10 under the theme “Access to Services-Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.”
Ruokuotuo Rutsa Clinical, Psychologist DMHP Naga Hospital Authority Kohima spoke on the occasion as the resource person.
She said that mental health is not a choice it can happen to anyone.
She urged that by providing support and accessing to mental health services, communities can build greater resilience, foster recovery and strengthen the ability of people to build, recover and heal even after a crisis.
The programme was chaired by Kevizo Miasalhou while welcome address was delivered by Dr Kevizakielie Suokhrie, Vice Principal (Academics), Oriental College. Vote of thanks was proposed by Akhrienuo Chietsu.
