Alder College faculty and students with resource persons during the one day orientation programme on the intricacies of NAAC on October 18.
Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): In collaboration with the department of Higher Education, Nagaland, Alder College faculty and authority organized a one day orientation programme on the intricacies of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on October 18 within the college premises, which was chaired by Mhonvani Ezung, Coordinator IQAC, Alder College.
A press note issued by the college informed that Megono L. Zetsuvi, Joint Director, Higher Education Nagaland delivered the keynote address through a power point presentation inclusive of the minutes of NAAC, preceded by the welcome note from Vekhozo Khamo, Principal, Alder College. Dr. Fr. Abraham, Principal, St. Joseph College, Jakhama deliberated on the core values, Letter of Intent (LOI) and Institutional Eligibility for Quality Assessment (IEQA). Dr. RK Behera, Academic Dean, Patkai Christian College, Seithekema highlighted on how to prepare, present and submit the Self Study Report (SSR). Dr. RK Iralu, Associate Professor and Vice Principal, Nagaland College of Teachers Education (NCTE), Kohima briefed the gathering on how to go about with the NAAC Peer Team visit. Dr. Martina Solo from the Department of Commerce, representing Nagaland University spoke on Human Resources as not just bring criteria for NAAC but for the general well being of quality education as well.
The orientation programme was rounded off by vote of thanks by Amos, Assistant Coordinator IQAC, Alder College.
