A day after the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations began, Class X students commenced their High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations today.
According to the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), a total of 23,267 candidates are appearing for the HSLC exams, including 22,310 main examination candidates and 957 compartmental candidates. The exams, being conducted across 97 centres in the state, will conclude on February 24.
Meanwhile, the HSSLC examinations for Class 12 students, which commenced on February 11, are underway across 68 centres and will continue until March 7, with 17,194 candidates appearing.
Of the total 17,194 candidates, 16,648 are appearing under the main category—12,403 in the Arts stream, 1,026 in Commerce, and 3,219 in Science—while 546 are taking the compartmental exam.
The Class XI Promotion Examination also commenced on February 11 and will run until March 7, with 18,375 students appearing across 192 institutions.
