Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): The inauguration programme of the District Education Office Longleng was held at Longleng district HQ on February 19 with parliamentary secretary for RD & REPA, Pangnyu Phom as the chief guest. The programme was led by H.A. DIS Office Longleng, T Longmong Phom. DEO Longleng Anungla Jamir gave the welcome address and dedicatory prayer was lead by executive secretary of Phom Baptist Christian Association Nyengching Longleng, Y. Nuklu Phom.
Speaking at the programme the chief guest appreciated the initiative and the concern of the Education Department for the advancement of the Phom community in the field of education; he also encouraged the staff to make the best use of the newly inaugurated DEO office for the service of the public, stated a press note issued by DIS Longleng, Odimastung.
