Party leaders reaffirm support to Atoizu constituency at NPF meet

Kohima, March 26 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Zunheboto Division held a consultative meeting with party officials and stakeholders of 32 A/C (Atoizu) at Jubilee Hall on Thursday as part of the Central Team-led constituency tour.

NPF Zunheboto Division president Khehoshe H Yeptho lauded MLA Picto Shohe for his commitment to the development of the constituency, stating that despite being “a mere MLA”, he has delivered more work than many with portfolios.

Expressing confidence, Yeptho said the NPF-led government would return to power in the 2028 general elections with Neiphiu Rio as Chief Minister and urged party workers to remain loyal and united.

Akuto Tuccu, secretary (COB), highlighted various schemes, including MIDH, IDAN, minor irrigation initiatives, NRLM, PMEGP, veterinary and commerce programmes, and hostel facilities under the Unnati scheme. He also encouraged registration under MSME.

Vice president Hotovi Chishi noted Atoizu’s political significance, while Khuketo Yeptho stressed unity under a regional party.

Kuhoi Zhimomi expressed optimism about the constituency’s future and said all 10 NLA Sumi members remain united. Representatives of various 32 A/C wings also spoke. The meeting concluded with a call for unity and commitment among party members.
