PBC commemorate Palm Sunday

Ukhrul | April 21 : The Commemoration of Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, which could be marked as one of the most special days, other than Christmas Celebration in the faith of Christians worldwide was kick-started in Ukhrul Phungyo Baptist Church (PBC) on April 17.  
In the morning service, Ringphami Ragui, the Ex-House Chairman of PBC preached the Gospel message reflecting the theme, after all the gatherers assembled outside the Church compound and marched in a bee-line and proceeded with slogans “Hosanna, Hosanna” with palm leaves in the hands and then entered the Church.
Lynda Shaiza, in the evening session brought the message expanding from the same Gospel theme, by delivering the importance of the days of Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday and she further and stressed on three points, firstly saying that Lord Jesus Christ came down to Jerusalem sitting on a simple Colt to show the meaning of the “Lordship” with reference to the bible text John 1:3 and Galatians 1:16 which tells that everything belongs to Him. The second sharing of her Gospel message taught about the Ministry of the Christ in a tremendous momentum in Jerusalem and which marked grant celebrity occasion. Thirdly, she spoke about the second coming to rule for 1000 years by taking the reference from the book of Isaiah 11:3-10. The speaker also shared the meaning of the Lordship which means everything belongs to Him from Genesis Chapter one and that why the Lord said to His two disciples to lose the Colt and at the same time the owner of the Colt did never say anything and willingly agreed when the disciples said that the Lord need it. The Preacher furthermore in her conclusion shared that the gospel messages enlightened the main purpose of the Living God sending His people (Human being) as a steward to look after His things according to the book written in Romans 12:1-2.
It is also informed that the Phungyo Baptist Church is also eagerly waiting to commemorate Easter Sunday, the day the Lord Jesus Christ risen from the dead after three days of His crucification in a silent candle light service.
