Kohima, December 6 (MExN): The Private College Teachers Forum Kohima (PCTFK) held its 2nd annual day cum general meeting on December 3 at Institute of World Languages IWL, Kohima.
Sivinir Terhüjah president PCTFK in his speech deliberated on the forum’s motto ‘Educate’ and urged the teacher to be more responsible to themselves, students, college, the forum and the society at large to bring about constructive and innovative means to impart quality education to the upcoming generation. He expressed his confident towards the forum as the right platform to perform the role.
The secretary report was presented by Gopal Chetri, general secretary, PCTFK. The session was also marked by induction of new office bearers for the tenure 2011-2013 followed by Change of Guard. The new team is headed by Nuveta Khusoh as president and Keviuchütuo Kuotsu as the new general secretary.
Meanwhile, the general body resolved: to set up an Advisory Board; to re-amend the constitution; to demand for implementation of the 6th ROP to all the private colleges and to overhaul the UG examination system.
