The Peace Channel Members of Nagaland appreciate and congratulate the Forum for Nagaland Reconciliation (FNR) under the able leadership of Dr. Wati Aier, Convener, and his team and the Christian Forum of Kohima. Your tireless effort and commitment in bringing about reconciliation and peace process among the different factions has brought a crystal landmark in the history of Nagaland. The novel idea of bring the factions together for a soccer match is indeed a noble idea. The number of people who attended the third reconciliation football match between united factions and the civil society at DDSC, Dimapur clearly indicate the whole hearted support for Peace and Reconciliation.
The Participation and involvement of the widows and orphans whose loved ones were lost in violence is a sign of hope for unity among the Nagas; it enables all to reflect on our present and pledge to promote peaceful environment to live in. As this historic journey for peace and prosperity takes wings, Peace Channel Nagaland wishes all the stakeholders and right thinking individuals to alleviate the differences and strengthen the Peace building process.
