Peren, July 6 (MExN): Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Peren-cum-DPDB Vice-Chairman, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS on July 6.
A DIPR report stated that DC Peren informed the members the directives received from the office of the Chief Secretary regarding 50% attendance of officers and staff. He expressed concern about the absence of many officers and staff and requested them to perform their duty diligently and sincerely.
Counselor, Grace gave a brief PowerPoint presentation about the schemes, aims & objectives and activities conducted in the district by Sakhi One Stop Centre, Peren. The board members appreciated the services rendered by the organisation and further assured to provide all possible helps in carrying out their noble endeavour.
The house deliberated agendas including schemes for 6th Tening A/C under LADP 2021-22; forwarding of application in respect of grant in aid for St Francis De Sales School, Peren; proposal for opening of new school i.e., St Joseph School at Songlhuh under Ahthibung Sub-Division and shifting of Peren Government College.
