PEREN, OCTOBER 7 (MExN): The Peren District Planning and Development Board, during its recent meeting, discussed preparations for the 11th Inter-Departmental Tournament scheduled to be held from November 12 to 14.
The tournament’s organising committee will be headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner as convener, with the District Sports Officer as member secretary and SDO (Civil), headquarters, as member.
The board resolved to include disciplines such as badminton, table tennis, carrom, arm wrestling (men and women), penalty shootout, and futsal (men).
Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru, called upon all departments to extend cooperation and participate actively in the forthcoming tournament.
