DIMAPUR, MAY 10 (MExN): The Old Peren, New Peren and Kajanglwa village Councils and Peren Youth Federation has convey their gratitude and appreciation to DAN government for granting numerous developmental packages, like the upgradation of the sub-division to full-fledged revenue district, taking over of Peren College by the government, establishing of 9th IRB head quarter at Saijang, Sainik School at Punglwa and road repairing.
In a press release, the three village councils and Youth Federation also extend their gratitude to the state Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his cabinet colleagues for selecting Tebam-Hegeilulo-New Peren-Kejanglwa area as the site the for the proposed model district headquarter.
Further, thanking the three representatives- Rajya Sabha MP, TR Zeliang, MLA Tarie and Vatsu Meru for their constant advice, suggestions and support in all endeavors, the three village councils and the youth body acknowledged the efforts of the PDC&FC and Zeliangrong Baudi in bringing about the innovative and unique programme through far sighted vision.
“The tireless effort ventured by them for over two or more years with much tolerance and patience is worth to be noted”, the release acknowledging the role of Baudi in selection of district headquarter site.
It further assured to give full cooperation to developmental activities with unreserved allegiance, and appeal to the government to expedite necessary developmental activities for the welfare of the district.
