Mon, May 11 (MExN): A meeting on the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY) was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Mon on May 11 under the chairmanship of S Phangnon Konyak, MP Rajya Sabha.
Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS, welcomed the members and officials attending the meeting.
During the meeting, the departments of Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary, Cooperation, Water Resources, District Industries Centre, Land Resources, Rural Development, Employment and Horticulture presented their annual departmental activities through PowerPoint presentations.
The meeting witnessed deliberations on the implementation of PMDDKY, with Phangnon stressing the need for all concerned departments to work sincerely and maintain close coordination for effective implementation of the scheme.
She also directed all departments to prepare detailed reports and proper justifications on the proposed utilisation of funds under the scheme.
The MP informed the meeting that the next meeting, scheduled for next month, would be devoted exclusively to discussions on PMDDKY.
