District Programme Manager facilitates a training session on the revised HMIS and RCH (Janani Portal) at the CMO Conference Hall, Phek.
Phek, July 8 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office (CMO), Phek conducted a two-day training programme on the revised Health Management Information System (HMIS) and Reproductive Child Health (RCH) Janani Portal for Vertical Programme Officials, District Programme Management Unit (DPMU) staff, Community Health Officers (CHOs), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) personnel, and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) on July 6 and 7 at the CMO Conference Hall, Phek.
The training was facilitated by the District Programme Manager (DPM), National Health Mission (NHM), and the Block Programme Manager (BPM), Phek Sadar, with the objective of strengthening the quality, accuracy and timeliness of health data reporting.
During the sessions, participants were oriented on various HMIS reporting formats, data entry procedures, reporting timelines, and the importance of ensuring complete and error-free health data. The programme also featured interactive discussions and practical demonstrations to address participants' queries and enhance their understanding of the HMIS reporting system.
According to the organisers, similar training programmes were also conducted across all the blocks in the district, with the respective Block Programme Managers facilitating the sessions.
