Phek, May 15 (MExN): The office of the Phek deputy commissioner informed all concerned that, in view of the hill excavation works at Ch.101+060 to Ch.101+250 (in between Losatephe and Lanezho Village) under Package-V of Kohima-Jessami Road, as a precautionary measure for the safety of the general public, vehicular movement for all type of vehicles along the aforementioned stretch will be completely restricted from May 18 to 31.
During the restriction period, an alternate route via Pfutsero-Porba-Sakraba-Khomi-Phek Village-Lanezho and vice versa may be utilized. The Construction Company, KS-PIRPL (JV) have been directed to ensure that all excavation works are completed within the stipulated period of time.
Henceforth, no further extension for restriction of traffic movement will be entertained, according to a notice issued by DC Rhosietho Nguori. This is issued for strict compliance.
