Phek, September 1 (MExN): Under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao ((BBBP), the District Administration & DLCW - Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP), Phek in collaboration with Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) is organizing online debate competition 2020 on the topic “COVID-19 a bane to humanity.”
The event is part of the forthcoming International Literacy Day.
The competition is open to all the indigenous inhabitants of Phek district in between the age group of 18-30 year.
All entries should furnish the details of the participants like name, profession, contact number, age, address and e-mail.
The participants have to submit a short essay on the merits and demerits of the topic with a word limit of 120-150 as initial selection process.
After screening of essay, the short listed candidates will be intimated for necessary information related to online debate.
Eight shortlisted participants will be invited for online debate through Google meet (app) on September 8 at 11:00 am.
The winner will carry a cash prize of Rs 5000 while 2nd and 3rd place winners will get Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively.
Last date of registration is September 5.
