DIMAPUR, August 5 (MExN): Keeping in mind the need to better the prevailing peaceful atmosphere in the village, the Congress unit president, Saveneyi Keyho along with Chivoyi Keyho, assistant secretary and Munuve Hoshi, representative have resigned with immediate effect from the unit Congress party, Phek village. In the resignation memo released to the media, the former Congress workers termed the resignation as a step arrived at on their own volition to strengthen the leadership of the present MLA, minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu. The resigned members have meanwhile hailed the Congress leadership for having reposed faith in them and allowing them to serve the party as unit party workers in the past.
