Pivoting on things improving system for development

We need improvement throughout the spacious volume of our reality; there is only as much requirement for any statistics to elucidate or convince us of this – we have perceived in this environment as enough and the data would fall short of our collective empirical cognizance in readily endorsing this fact. Developmental psychology is the scientific study of how and why human beings change over the course of their life. This field examines change across three major dimensions: physical development, cognitive development, and socio-emotional development. Physical development of the environment would require of our political system to be of pragmatic, people-oriented, collective vision and aspiration to enforce dynamics in crossing boundaries otherwise/previously made believed/conceived as grotesque and insane even – solely to achieve realistically applicable apparatus to realistically impact our environment.

Do we have room for personal cognitive development to channel across the realm of social development in general? Yes, definitely! Aristotle defined personal development as a category of phronesis or practical wisdom, where the practice of virtues (arête) leads to eudaimonia, commonly translated as "happiness" but more accurately understood as "human flourishing" or "living well". Our reality has been distorted for decay for quite a while, resulting remotely and mostly from our post second world war era historical significances and blunders respectively which has been recorded naturally. But, as long as there is collective hope, instead of giving in for the current decay of the system to mutate and devour progressive future, we have a chance and choice to manifest the hope into building. Accepting tolerance embracing reality and implementing production methods … what better way than to let being had the wrong way incessantly.

The Nagas, being human are only prone to human errors and inherent flaws, and so, we Nagas [including this writer – a Naga] have a lot of space for growth. Yet, we have been deprived of conditions to flourish and explore meaningfully, owing to traditional norms and political incapacity to facilitate human capital and resources in cultivating the rudimentary aspects to architect the bases and foundations to streamline the process of development.

The present political culture and hierarchies in the government has failed us miserably. And yet we are, under a colonial imposition of identity as a state. While in some instances the people are left aloof in propagating a solution for the people in a narrow coverage where more intricacy has a way of surging upon. The people have been subdued and deprived of rights and progress through various channels and we have grown out of it today. Like the slogan of the Black Panthers (a political organization) - “All Power to the People”, may we Nagas break out of our tribal barriers and resonate with common will for common cause.
