SASA 64th Wrestling Meet 2026 on Jan 30

Creating a history of it sorts, a plot of land measuring 100X100 sg.ft at Chumoukedima will be presented to the champion as a special award in senior category of the upcoming 64th Wrestling Meet 2026 of Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA).
The land donor is Tepuleho Pusa & family.
SASA 64th Wrestling Meet 2026 has been scheduled for January 30 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
In addition to plot of land, the champion in senior category will receive a cash prize of Rs. 80,000.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th position holder will be awarded with Rs. 60,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 2000 respectively.
The losing quarter finalists will get Rs. 5000 each.
In Under 15 category, the champion will receive a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 while 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will get Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 7000 respectively.
The losing quarter finalists will get Rs. 2000 each.
The cash prizes for both senior and Under 15 category is sponsored by V&V Club Kohima.
Krodi Rhetso, Superintendent of Police, Kohima an Er Tepul Hopovi, president, Southern Angami Public Organization will grace the meet as the inaugural guest and closing guest respectively.
The special invitees include; Vilelie Khamo, Er. Kropol Vitsu, MLA & Advisor, Kevipodi Sophie, MLA, Dr. Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso, MLA, Kevithuto Sophie, IPS, Veyielo Doulo, Director, Neilekho Ziitso, Er.Vizoto Seletsu, Er. Vikenyii Ziitso, Khriezotuo Shunyii, Vizayie Kaimo, Neisakuolie Riilu, Metsisieto Zhasa, Anghie Kidima, Lhoushevikho Lhoushe, Dziivepra Puro, Kedokho Motonyii, Zhavito Rhutso and Atoto Kere, former NWA champion.
Track suits will be sponsored by Er. Akho Ziitso, Engineer-in-Chief, NPWD, Government of Nagaland.
Zehoto Kikhi will officiate the meet as the chief referee with other referees and field judges from NWA Referee Board.
The Jury Board includes Vitsoto Vitsu, Zapranei Mekro and Thinuomholhou Keyie.
SASA General Secretary, Ketosii Rikha will chair the inaugural programme at 9:00 AM while SASA President Dr. Vimezo Kere will deliver presidential address.
SASA Wrestling Secretary, Neidamo Leno will administer oath to the wrestlers.
The meet will be managed by Southern Angami Catholic Union.
