Poor BSNL network at Shamator; YTC appeals for better service

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20 (MExN): Though BSNL service is claiming its vast connectivity and development in the state, poor BSNL network has been prevailing at Shamator for the past eight moths. The Yimchungru Tribal Council (YTC), the apex body of the Yimchungru community has alleged that, the BSNL network has been defunct for the past eight months thus causing immense hardship to the people of remote areas.
According  to Yanba Showuba, Chairman Executive Council Yimchungru Tribal Council and Joint Secretary YTC, L. Murekiu said that,  despite  repeated appeals made to the department by the concern denizens of the people in the areas, but so far the BSNL department have not taken any positive  steps,  but still  continues  with the dilapidated service. YTC therefore stated that thousands of people were affected with their telecommunication gap and asked the BSNL department to rectify the error and provide a better service for the welfare of the public.
The YTC while visiting at the site found that the BSNL network were totally down for quite sometime now and appealed the BSNL department  to look in to the matter at the earliest in the interest of the common people.  The YTC had  appealed  to the BSNL department to rectify the error within November 20, failing which the YTC will be compelled  to  issue an order for  removing  the tower  if they  continued  with same service rather than keeping  as a  statue.
Therefore, the YTC appeals to the BSNL department to take appropriate measures against the poor service at the earliest and restore a proper service at the earliest so as to function in a peaceful way. The denizens of the areas have also warned that, they would no longer tolerate such kind of ill treatment to the people of far flung areas and asked the department to hear and accept the genuine demand and hue and cry of the rural people and provide a better service at the earliest.
