Apropos the notice and order to remove of churches issued by Deputy Administration Regional Institute of Medical Science – Imphal vide Nagaland Post 2nd April 2012.
In the past hundred thousand precious lives had been lost in Manipur due to want of proper medical care and treatment, Highly counted that it is inspired to some dedicated and devoted public and social thinkers to set up a medical college in the state. Today with the blessing of Government of India it became the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, students from North-East India were trained the modern technology of medicinal treatment since decades.
In short, the whole purpose of RIMS is to train, diagnose and treat the patients, in this connection different methods and modern treatment including meditation, Yoga’s, alternative treatment are taken into consideration to heal the patients and goes to the extend of researches.
To quote a few from the Bible: - a) The fear of the Lord is the beginning to of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. b) It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick. C) “I am the Alpha and the Omega”, which means the first and the last. d) God can do everything on earth.
Church is not a house of an individual but a group of individuals. People comes to this Place with humbleness, freed everything: heart and mind submitted to the almighty, say what he or she wishes to say, request for mercy and to grant the prayer, taking for granted as prayed, thanks to God with in mind of being a member of God’s people.
Besides, there are also different departments in the Church of which the prayer warriors is specially looking after the ailing or sick people to heal from their sicknesses, molding the behaviours of a person that might leads to the future successful life of an individual on earth and ultimately glorify to the almighty God.
People used to say: “Toglok”, when defeated, Most of us read the story piece “Spark neglected burns the house”. Why should we invite another Toglok?
History goes on saying the ownership. There must be history of establishment of both RIMS and Church which may put together for amicable solution.
Let us consider from Naga-Mapal to the West for example: People’s benefit will come from the positive attitude and progressive. Defeat, fail, disappoint, and shameless, corruption are all negative structure on the other hand.
I remember, One Hindu prof. Dr. from AIIMS Delhi said when he lost all hopes to save a Christian patient, “Leave it to your owner the almighty God, he can save you, and heal you, pray for me also, do pray. ‘God bless you’.
What good would bring by destroying the Church forcibly or what bad would bring when the church members pray for the patients, hospital and medicinal institute as a whole.
To shoulder out for an administrator of a huge institution like RIMS always required local corporation and neutral based with matured character and not forgetting the hospital staff and Church prayer groups goes side by side for the benefit and welfares of the hospital authority and the patients in general.
