Nagaland: Postal dept informs on DGNK and BNLP services

Kohima, November 29 (MExN): The Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Post, Nagaland Division has informed the general public that Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra (DGNK) and Post Book Now Pay Later (BNLP) Services are now available in the Post Office.

An update from the State IPR stated that the Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra (Post Office Export Centre) is an initiative undertaken by the Government of India for prospective entrepreneurs who wish to start small scale foreign export, with a special focus on the north-eastern states. This DGNK is solely meant for foreign export supported by GOI which is legal and commercial. Any individual interested to avail such services legally must have valid GSTIN and get registered from DNK Website to get Import-Export Code (IEC) from the website of Director General of Export (www.dgft.gov.in) for a nominal fee of  Rs.500/-. Benefits of DNK are Absence of Middle man, minimization of Custom problems, sending mail bags directly to Foreign Post Office, Kolkata and providing pick up facilities etc. DNK locations in Nagaland where customers can book foreign export articles are presently at Kohima HPO, Dimapur MDG, Mokokchung MDG, Wokha Sub Post Office and Chümoukedima Sub Post Office.

BNPL (Book Now Pay Later) service is a mailing solution for e-commerce parcels suitable for bulk mailers and institutions. This service is to let the regular bulk mailers to avoid long standing in a queue and pay later by the end of the month. Any Private Individual, Education Institutions, PSUs, Business Institutions, Nationalized Banks, e-commerce businesses and Govt. Institutions can avail this service.

To avail this service, interested customers or mailers should sign an agreement for a maximum of three years and be subject to renewal at least two months before the date of expiry.
