Kohima, July 13 (MExN): A damaged 11kV Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker on the Bazaar Feeder at the 132/33/11kV Receiving Sub-Station (RESS) in Kohima led to a power outage affecting parts of Kohima town and adjoining rural areas on Monday morning. In a press release, the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, informed that the outage followed the damage to the circuit breaker at the sub-station on July 13. According to the department, the affected areas include parts of Kohima town as well as Jotsoma, Khonoma, Mezoma and Poilwa. The department stated that it is making "all-out effort to restore power supply by making alternate arrangements at the earliest." It appealed to the public to bear with the inconvenience and extend their cooperation during the restoration process, while expressing appreciation for the public's patience and understanding.
