Kohima, January 9 (MExN): Power supply to Wokha and Tseminyu districts will be affected on January 10 due to a scheduled vegetation clearance and maintenance programme along the 132kV Doyang–Sanis transmission line under the Kohima Transmission Division.
Accordingly, a total shutdown has been scheduled from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday to facilitate smooth execution of the work, which has been described as unavoidable, informed the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima.
Stating that the activity is being carried out to prevent future disruptions and ensure stable power supply, the Department urged consumers and the general public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
