President Khaplang grants amnesty to Sumi Hoho VP

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN-Khaplang says it has accepted the resignation of Sumi Hoho vice president Kitoho Rotokha and now he is granted “amnesty.” In a note released to the media it stated that “The NSCN/GPRN has no bad intention towards any individual leading the Naga Civil Society because this is a people’s movement based on the momentum of the mass support. The NSCN had strong objection over the activities of Kitoho Rotokha, vice-president, Sumi Hoho for his anti-national propaganda which compelled it to demand immediate resignation on 30th Dec. 2011.” It further stated that “The NSCN appreciates the collective leaders who have unoppossedly accepted the resignation tendered by Kitoho Rotokha. Any issue or misunderstanding that might have been cropped up between the NSCN and Kitoho Rotokha is now granted amnesty by His Excellency the President of the GPRN. The NSCN is optimistic that Civil Societies will assist in Nation-building than inciting hatred and division.”
