My Dear Countrymen,
Firstly, I thank the almighty God, who has sustain our generation, to this century, and keeping the hope of the Naga People alive against the occupational forces.
I salute all the immortal generations of Naga freedom fighters who are gone having given their best to lay the foundation of the Naga sovereignty.
I take this God given opportunity to convey the 32nd Republic day greeting to all the citizens of Nagaland for Christ and the Revolutionary Organisations throughout the World. My respect and greeting goest to the Revolutionary organizations and the people of Asom, Kangleipak, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Mizoram, Tripura, Punjab, Maoist and Jammu and Kashmir. We must unite to make history and cherish the political goal we are struggling for, Countrymen, the length of our struggle for sovereignty is itself explanatory ingredients of our patriotism, but this durability must be proved with creation of a New “Historical and Political era”. It is thus, the commitment of my Government to the Naga people that, “No matter whatever the consequences, the GPRN will continue defending the Naga sovereignty from the foreign forces”.
No society in the world can live without peace and unity. However, it is also through that, “No man however powerful one may be, the people and sovereignty cannot be betray in lieu of peace and unity.” Any form of peace and unity, which become a threat to the Naga sovereignty will be legally deal with in accordance to the law of the land based on Christian ethics.
Many NGOs, Civil societies, Churches including the so-call puppet Government of the so-call state of Nagaland had promised the GOI-IM solution in twelve (12) and six (6) months. As a matter of fact, nothing can come out of nothing. These groups of people have used Christianity. Their organizations bewilder the Naga to Rebirth to the sixteen (16) point agreement of 1963. In other words, these groups of people with their propaganda, is and will only be the second masterpiece of the NNC (shillong-accord).
The two World Wars and the cold war had brought sovereignty to many Nations and their people. Then, what make the Nagas short of it? Does nothing belongs to the weak? We, the Nagas must be strong enough to achieve what we have struggled for, because we cannot dump off the sacrifices of the thousands for the sake of mere “Economic packages”.
The GPRN will not allow any individual to lure and mislead the Naga freedom in the name of peace and unity.
Dear Countrymen, we must circumspect the political and military assistance granted to the Naga National Movement by China, Pakistan and East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh). While the fire of National Movement was still kept burning, some self-wasted menaces try to muddle the Naga political and cultural struggle. I take this privilege to extend my gratitudes to all the Revolutionary Brotherhood of man who has been with the GPRN throughout this revolutionary storm.
Sovereignty is a life – stream, a river of life which can quench the thirst of the people. GPRN will turn all stones for the Nagas to Quenched that thirst. We will accomplish a sovereign Nation to set up an example to all the Revolutionary Organisations within and outside occupational India. We will stand and support other oppressed people who aspired for freedom.
There is on going liberal ceasefire agreement with GOI since 27th April 2001, however, the NSCN/GPRN has not enter in any political dialogue with India as we are not into a marathon race for prize. Many handful groups of people are talking with India, but that does not mean solution for any or for themselves either, it is only a agenda of propaganda.
When there is no talk on sovereignty, can anyone expect anything? My Government is ready to enter into dialogue with the GOI only to solve the issue of sovereignty, but not to exhaust the time and energy of the Nagas.
Lastly, I urged every Nagas to come forward to the freedom struggle. Freedom is our birth-right, and we must unitedly march toward it till the end.
God bless the Nagas.
