The CNRI Nagaland chapter was formed randomly in the month of January 2005 after the visit of the former D.G. of CAPART. Mr. Shaptareshi (IAS) to Kohima, Nagaland at Japfü Hotel. However the executive officials failed to perform certain requisite duties because of which the CNRI Central Secretariat decided that the Nagaland chapter remained de-recognised. It was only under special consideration after repeated appeal that the central Secretariat revoked. It discussed and appointed Mr. T. Imty Jamir as Adhoc-Convenor, CNRI Nagaland chapter under whom the Nagaland chapter would function.
There is a serious question to be considered here and that is “If the executive members of the Nagaland chapter were working with sincerity and transparency, why would the central secretariat of CNRI consequently is occupying”?
As legitimate election members from the various districts, I desire that my fellow district Presidents to take serious note of this development and work under the directive of the then Adhov-Convenor Mr. T. Imty Jamir on whom the Central Secretariat, New Delhi has placed its confidence, because it would be futile to work under an executive body on which the Central Secretariat does not have confidence- Meanwhile I make an appeal to Mr. T.Imty Jamir that a meeting of the Nagaland chapter be called for the earliest to resolve the present problem and elect new Executive members of the Nagaland Chapter.
