Organized by Pro Rural in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), ‘Project Garbage to Gold’ was launched at Riverbelt Colony Dimapur on Saturday.
The objective of the project is to convert household level waste especially kitchen waste into composts. The project materials were distributed and training imparted to 50 beneficiaries of the colony by virtue of being awarded the cleanest colony in Dimapur. Other colonies will get trainings for 30 beneficiaries in a phased manner.
DMC officials, Riverbelt Colony Council members, GBs of the colony and members of Pro Rural attended the launching programme. The training was imparted by members of Pro Rural.
