The Phek Sports Association (PSA) topped the medal tally on the second day of the ongoing 33rd meet cum 2nd Naga Style category wrestling at Phek village.
PSA secured 36 medals till January 18 with 18 Gold, 11 Silver and 7 Bronze.
Phek Basa Sports Association (PBSA) ranked second place with 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze.
Lanezho Sports Association (LSA): 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze.
Lozaphuhu Sports Association (LSA): 2 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze.
Tuzatsu Sports Association: 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 4 Bronze
Kutisu Sports Association: 3 Silver, 2 Bronze.
The meet will continue till January 21.
Earlier, MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader of NPF Legislature Party and co- chairman UDA Government graced the inaugural function meet as the inaugural guest on January 17.
The inaugural programme was chaired by PASA general secretary Ozo Venuh while welcome speech was delivered by Phek village council chairman Kuzhoniecho Keyho.
Greeting was shared by Phek District Sports Association president Nezosa Tetseo.
PASA president Razoukhruyi Dozo delivered presidential address.
Six units under PASA are competing for coveted champion titles in track and field events, football, volleyball, basketball, arm wrestling, Naga wrestling (Below 65 kg, below 74 kg and below 86 kg).
