DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): Frustrated by the poor network connectivity in Peren, the Peren Town Youth Organization has directed all SIM card outlets in Peren Town to suspend the sale of Airtel, Jio Reliance and BSNL companies till further notice. A press release from the PTYO said that “with the intent to benefit good network connectivity and internet connection in the town,” it had been appealing to the concerned authorities of Airtel, Jio Reliance and BSNL for the past months formally and informally.
“However to our dismay the condition of network connectivity and internet connection has not improved, in fact, it has been deteriorating recently despite numerous appeals made,” it stated. The organization said that the ban on the sale of SIM cards from these companies would continue till such time the concerned companies provide “excellent network connectivity and Internet connection.” It further cautioned outlets that stern action would be initiated if they are found selling the said SIM cards. It meanwhile appealed to the distributors to bear with the inconvenience and follow suit.
