
After an absence of almost three years, Purple Fusion are back with a big win at the Akademia awards for the 2nd time with their hit single “Grace” which is yet to be officially released on YouTube and other social media sites.
The band won the best single in the Folk/Singer-songwriter category for October 2019.
Their first Album ‘Folk Reminiscence’ won the best Album in the same category in 2014.
“Grace” which is a fusion of Pop, funk, Raggae and traditional Lotha folk “Voro jü rhe, Ojü rhe” was recorded at JAM studio, Dimapur and Mixed and Mastered at Element Indie Records, Notun basti Dimapur by Kevi Pucho.
Currently the band is working on the music video which they plan to release as soon as the project is completed.
The band credits God for the success and honor they have been bestowed. In addition, the band also made a clarification that in appendix 8 of 'Folk Reminiscence 'it should be read as Williamson and not as Captain Butler.
