Subject: Questions on Supervisor Recruitment under CSS – Seeking Clarity and Transparency

Sir,
I write to express concern over your department’s recent advertisement (No. SW/ESTT-4/2016/08 dated 02.04.2025) regarding the recruitment of Supervisor and Statistical Assistant/Accountant posts under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).
The inclusion of the Supervisor post under CSS is surprising. Since when has this role been considered part of a CSS scheme? Under which specific CSS does it now fall?
Is this a move to bypass the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC)? If these posts are later regularised—as seen in other departments—it raises serious concerns about backdoor entry into government service.
Also, the advertisement does not mention salary details/pay scale or the nature of the job (contractual or permanent). Transparency on these basics is essential for aspirants.
The youth deserve clarity and a fair recruitment process, not ambiguous policies that breed suspicion. I urge your office to address these concerns at the earliest.

Sincerely,
Renba Naga, Dimapur.
