Details of the appointments in school education department were revealed in the recent session of the NLA. I would like to pose some questions to the department.
1. 32 Primary Teachers were appointed on adhoc and need basis from April 2018 till date. Was there any advertisement or open recruitment system? If not, what is the criteria for such appointment? On what basis is the appointment done for such so-called 'adhoc and need basis'?
2. 85 Graduate Teachers for mathematics and 52 Graduate Teachers for science were appointed through open interview in September, 2018. I would like to know the details of the advertisement/notification of the recruitment.
3. 3 Graduate teachers and 37 Primary Teachers were appointed on compassionate scheme. Is there such a scheme? If so, what are the details? Who are the beneficiaries? Was there any ad/notification/circular regarding this?
4. For the recent LDA-Cum Computer Assistant exam, the dept provided an email for queries. Since I had a confusion, I mailed my query. However, there has been no response from the dept! What kind of lackadaisical and insouciant work is this?
5. Regarding the exorbitant fees for LDA exam, the dept gave a clarification on this issue. However, I would like to question the dept: doesn't the dept, one of the biggest in terms of fund allocation and number of employees, have enough resource to simply conduct a small exam? The explanation given by the dept is feeble. We, the public, know very well the daily economics and expenditure that incurs. Next time, kindly do not charge such hefty fees.
