Dimapur, September 8 (DIPR): Tuensang District Mothers Association held a procession rally at Tuensang town against the easy flow of alcohol, illicit drugs and other intoxicant substances inside the town with slogans like, ‘Stop selling illegal substances in the town’, ‘Close down Liquor Selling Shop’, written in their banner and placards including slogan against some individual and agencies for supplying illicit substance in the town. The rally proceeded to Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, T. Mhabemo Yanthan, NCS and submitted their memorandum demanding immediate action from the Administration on the issue. Later the procession again marched to 1st Assam Rifle, Tuensang, R.P. Gate and demanded the concerned authority for cancellation of permit/license of wet canteen run by some individual in the Tuensang town.
