RALOA to hold general meeting on Jan 24

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) has expressed its profound gratitude to Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio taking serious cognisance of the prolonged land-related dispute involving the Dimapur Railways.

The association said the Chief Minister has constituted a high-powered committee (HPC) to hold cordial discussions with RALOA with the objective of resolving the issue at the earliest. In this connection, RALOA announced that it would convene a general meeting to discuss the matter before the scheduled meeting with the high-powered committee.

All members of RALOA have been informed to attend the meeting and contribute their insights towards finding an amicable solution to the protracted land-related dispute between the Railways and the landowners, the association said. The general meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on January 24, at the Conference Hall of Hotel Saramati, it added.
