DIMAPUR, JULY 1 (MExN): State Bank of India, Rangapahar Branch, Dimapur observed SBI Day on Friday, July 1. The branch celebrated the occasion with the children of Wondang-Ki Charitable Foundation – a home for parentless children at Fellowship colony.
Branch manager, KK Das gave away gifts to the children on behalf of the bank. At present 10 children of the orphanage are provided support by the SBI. Rangapahar branch is sponsoring six children while the main branch is supporting four.
Managing director of the home, NT Kikon said through the kind gesture of the SBI they are able to send the children to school. The SBI has been associated with the orphanage for the past three years. There are 23 girls under the care of the home at present.
