Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): Considering the inflationary effect of various commodities and comparing market rate of neighboring state and in pursuance to the meeting of District Level Committee for fixation of rate of bricks for Dimapur district held on February 3, 2018 along with the various stakeholders, the rates of different classes of bricks has been revised.
The revised rates are as under: 1. 1st class bricks – Rs. 5.80 to Rs. 6.50 per piece (at brick kiln) 2. Medium class bricks – Rs. 5.40 to Rs. 6.00 per piece (at brick kiln) 3. Picket bricks – Rs. 5.40 to Rs. 5.50 per piece (at brick kiln) 4. 2nd class bricks – Rs. 4.90 to Rs. 5.50 per piece (at brick kiln) 5. Broken bricks – Rs. 3500 to Rs. 4000 per truck load (at brick kiln) While informing about the revised rates in an order, Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur said that this order will be enforced with effect from February 6, 2018.
It may be mentioned that the rate of bricks of various categories was examined and was last fixed on June 15, 2017.
