Longleng, September 8 (MExN): Public sensitisation, institutional coordination and the upcoming launch of the Reform Utsav portal were among the key issues discussed at a high-level consultative meeting held in Longleng on September 8.

The meeting, held at the DBDP Hall, was conducted under the State Level Governance Framework of Reform Utsav and chaired by W Manpai Phom, Deputy Commissioner, Longleng.

The Deputy Commissioner welcomed Kekhrievor Kevichusa, Commissioner & Secretary, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs and State Nodal Officer for the district, along with his team, departmental officers and representatives of civil society organisations.

He also called for strengthening the implementation mechanism at the grassroots level and requested the Deputy Commissioner to constitute block-level and district-level committees.

The Deputy Commissioner urged officers from various departments and blocks, as well as representatives of civil society organisations, to actively sensitise the public on the objectives and activities of Reform Utsav.
