FGN appoints new ‘midan peyu’ for Sumi region
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) in exercise of the provision under 'part VII, article 108 of the yehzabo’ of Nagaland has appointed Vikihe Zhimomi as the ‘midan peyu’ of Sumi region with effect from March 22, 2011. A press note issued by joint secretary of ‘ministry of rali wali’ , G Zhimomi stated that Vikikhe Zhimomi was promoted in place of Hekhuvi Achumi subsequent to his promotion to ‘deputy kilonser lota’.
Two terminated from GPRN/NSCN
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN):Kiyekhu Awomi, member, National Political Advisory Council (NPAC) and M.A Felix, ‘tatar’ of GPRN NSCN have been terminated. The MIP in a press note stated that the duo have been terminated from the ‘national service’ on account of their anti-party activities. "…they shall not represent GPRN/NSCN at any level."
Saptiqa EAC Hqs inauguration
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN):The headquarters of the Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Saptiqa will be inaugurated on April 5, 2011 at 10:00 am. Ministers G. Kaito Aye and Doshehe Y. Sema have graciously consented to be the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. DNYO informs
Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Diphupar Naga Youth Organization (DNYO) informs that it has passed a strong resolution, that if anybody found drinking alcohol, damaging school property or practicing any illegal activities at Diphupar Local ground and Diphupar Naga Cemetery, the Union/Organization will take a strong course of action to offender(s). A press note issued by DNYO, president Thejangului Suokhrie and general secretary Zuchuom Lotha thereby requests all the general public to give full co-operation.
ANTSA Longleng Unit serves ultimatum
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The ANTSA Longleng Unit informs that all the Schools and Offices of Education Department will be closed from March 29, if the department fails to fulfill its demands. A press note issued by K. Takanganba, president ANTSA Unit Longleng stated that failure to these demands, the concern authorities should resign from their designated post for sheer negligence of their own responsibilities, which is also an act of discrimination. Further more, the ANTSA Longleng Unit will also appeal to the Court of Law for justice, against any kind of manipulation towards the teachers and its students. The Unit in the note demanded that the ACP Scheme of Senior Teachers must be paid before the next financial period. Also, the Adhoc teachers whose service extension has not been released till date must be released within the deadline given, and the pending salaries of Adhoc Teachers for almost 17 months, 16 months and 15 months respectively must be paid within a current period. Also, the genuine Teachers who were included under bogus and doubtful category, their case must be immediately finalized.
Kiphire DC informs on land for JNV School
Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): Notice is hereby issued for public information that the government is going to acquire land at the proposed site for the establishment of JNV School Kiphire at Tutheze (Chak). The notice issued by C. M Tsanglao, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire also mentioned that a list of the land owners with measurement of each individual land was also enclosed. In this regard, if any individual or clan or group has any claim or object to the proposed site for establishment of JNV School, may submit in written within 30 days from the date of issue of this notice to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire. Any complaint or objection lodged after the expiry of the date notified shall not be entertained.
