Mao Hoho Dimapur condemns
Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): The Mao Hoho Dimapur vehemently condemns the shooting incident on June 2, 2011 near Yak Hotel Dimapur where Sani Athili was shot as by unidentified persons. A press note issued by president and general secretary MHD stated, “Such barbarous and uncivilized acts have no place in our society and can not be tolerated any longer. We appeal to every right thinking citizens to condemn the act. It once again reminds us of the fact that the lives of innocent citizens are at the mercy of people who take the law into their hands. We fervently request the law enforcing agencies to book the culprits and take its course of action.”
ANPSA 37th general conference
Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): All Nagaland Private School’s Association will have their 37th general conference at AIDA, Don Bosco School, Dimapur on June 9 and 10, 2011 as per details published in advertisement on June 4 and 6. ANTA Dimapur Unit cancels membership
Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur Unit had an emergency meeting on June 7 on the issue of Taxi bearing No. NL-01-T-7712 violating the norms of taxi association resolution ANTA Dimapur Unit. The Unit in a press release informed that ANTA Dimapur Unit had resolved to cancel the said taxi membership from the Unit and also “bearing No. NL-01-T-7712 has been banned to ply within Dimapur jurisdiction.” Failing which the ANTA Dimapur Unit will take a strict action against the said taxi.
State NCP foundation day
Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): The Nationalist Congress Party Nagaland informs to all concerned that foundation day of the party will be observed on June 10, 2011 at its party office, Dimapur at 11:00 am. Kohima, June 7 (MExN): In mutual understanding with the grievances of business community within the Kohima municipality, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) informed that the enhancement of trade license fee by 15% from the existing rate is kept in abeyance till further order. This was stated in a release issued by KMC administrator Alun Hangsing.

The selected new office bearers tenure from 2011-2013 are: President- Vimedo Chase, general secretary R.Loyamba Yimchunger, joint secretary- Nyuzhitho, Kohima, while executive committee members are: Medoniezo, convenor from Kohima station, Masalepten from Mokokchung station, Imli Chang from Tuensang station, Mhonchumo from Phek station, Zakienizo from Imphal station, Viyikhu from Zunheboto Station and Treasurer Khuvito from Dimapur station.
