Ghoshito Village Council clarifies

Dimapur, June 9 (MExN):
In relation, to the news item published on June 9, “5 held for extortion in Dmu”, the Ghoshito Village Council has clarified that one Khekiye, ‘raja peyu’ of FGN is not a resident of the village. This was stated in a press note issued by the chairman of Ghoshito Village Council, Vizheto Sumi.

Air India flight timings today

DIMAPUR, JUNE 9 (MExN):
The Station Manager of Air India Ltd Dimapur has informed that in view of change of schedule AI9702 for June 10 scheduled time of departure from Dimapur is revised to 1405 hrs instead of 1420 hrs for Dimapur/Calcutta. Therefore, all joining passenger of AI9702 for DMU/CCU are requested to report for check-in at Dimapur airport at 1235 hrs.

JNV 2011 selection test on July 10

Mokokchung, June 9 (DIPR):
The selection test to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) 2011 will be conducted on Sunday, July 10 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon. In this regard Principal JNV, Mokokchung has informed all applicants to collect forms from JNV Yimyu, Mokokchung before June 30. Centers for JNVST-2011 of Mokokchung District will be Mangkolemba Block at Baptist Higher Secondary School Mangkolemba Center, Ongpangkong Block at John Douglas Yimyu Ward, Mokokchung, Mokokchung Block at Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School, Kubolong Block at Government High School Sungratsu, Changtongya Block-I at Government High School Changtongya and Changtongya Block – II at Government High School Tuli. Admit Cards will be available from Principal JNV Yimyu, Mokokchung, Nagaland up to 30.06.2011 and afterwards Admit Cards maybe collected from the examination centers.

AR recovers contraband heroine at Tsg

Dimapur, June 9 (MExN): According to a press note issued by the Assam Rifle, on June 2 troops of 1ST Assam Rifles based in Tuensang under HQ 7 Sector AR recovered contraband heroine (Dr Thomas) weighing 500 gm. Based on specific tip off, troops carried out search in general area Tuensang - Kuthur road. At around midnight, the troops accosted a group of suspects move on the road. When ordered to stop the group fled into the dark jungle. On search of the area contraband was recovered which was later handed over to Police Station, Tuensang.
