This rejoinder refers to an article which appeared in the Morung Express on page 4, (four) Sunday the 4th Oct’2012.with the heading “Phek DC Complex construction under Vigilance Scanner-An eye opener for the Thuvopisu Village” the article contributed purportedly by one Vekusuyi Chakhesang of Thuvopisu village.
The undersigned Thuvopisu village authorities through this brief rejoinder, we wish to let the readers know that as far as our knowledge are concerned there is no such person by the name Vekusuyi Chakhesang exist in the village. However, by any chance if this person exist and living outside Thuvopisu village, the Thuvopisu village council hereby summon him to report in the village within one week of the publication of this rejoinder.
We also wish to inform the public that Thuvopisu villagers were sober from day one when Phek-Chozuba road construction project came into picture and we are still striving in drawing attention of various authorities in order to let the contractor execute the work properly. Thus, the question of an eye opener does not arise in this project issue, because construction of DC Complex at Phek and construction of Phek-Chozuba road is different entity. Over and above, while Thuvopisu village is against high degree of corruption in this Phek=Chozuba road construction, we remind the people of Phek district to realize that this road is not only for one village alone, but belonged to every citizens.
