According to the articles of the Robert A. Silverstein, every one of the Nagas who is defending the sovereignty of Nagaland will have no doubt to think A. Silvertsein is bribed by India to write against the Naga nationalism, because he said: “A separate Naga nation will never happen, but fight for only a prosperous state” which appeared in Morung Express on October 28, 2016. In contrary, he also stated that the Nagas under the so-called Indian state are not become prosperous but corrupted. That is true.
When the India was under the bondage of the Colonialists one after another in its history, the Nagas had never fallen into any foreign domination and never part of India. The Nagas have no common history, Culture, Religion, Language, geography and even complexion with Indians. The Nagas are separate people and separate nation from that of India since time immemorial. How then Robert A Silverstein dare to say that a separate Naga nation will never happen? The Nagas had been a separate nation and will be a separate nation from that of India. Can he deny that the Nagas never had been a separate nation?
India came into Nagaland only yesterday to colonize the Nagas after she came out of the bondage of the British Colony. That was the only history the Nagas now have with India, if not the Nagas know nothing about India. Not only the Nagas, but also other six States ofthe mongoloid people in Northeast India were separated nations from India. Some of them had their own Kingdoms before the advent of the British. And one day, these can also be separate nations from that of India. No one, including A. Selverstein, can reject it implicitly.
