The term NAGA is defined by blood and flesh and never on the basis of the artificial boundaries demarcation. To divide Naga families on the basis of boundaries and territories peripheral is against the principle of Naga nationalism and therefore whoever violates it is anti-Naga.
The term QUIT was first launched by Mahatma Gandhi during the Quit India Movement to drive away the Britishers from the soil of India. The Indian believed that minus Whites in India itself will usher dawn of India’s independence and as such Quit India Movement was politically justified. However, in this instant case is just the opposite because driving away few Tangkhuls from the present state of Nagaland by no means will generate Naga sovereignty, therefore it will be wrong to use negative political weapon to achieve Naga sovereignty.
It will be vital to dispel confusion in the minds of few NSCN(K) leaders that minus Tangkhuls, Nagaland state will be a paradise on earth. The simple reason is that Naga sovereignty lies with the people and never with few Tangkhuls from the present state of Nagaland. The prevailing political confusion and chaos is sparked from your political statements against the Naga national principle laid down by late Dr. A.Z. Phizo “NAGAS ARE ONE”. Secondly, the deteriorating situation in Nagaland is due factional fighting with animal instinct/head hunting for regional supremacy is detrimental for growth of Naga nationalism. Thirdly, killing among the Naga brothers in the name of Naga sovereignty helps the enemies to further divide Nagas and rule and therefore stop helping the enemies by stopping factional fighting which will otherwise a killer will kill himself sooner or later. No faction will ever achieve Naga sovereignty as long as they continue fighting among themselves without fighting the enemies. Stop killing your own brothers and sisters in the guise of defending Naga sovereignty.
It may be reminded to all rational and political thinkers and national workers that Nagaland is the home of every Naga and should be proud of it irrespective of political affiliation, residence and place of birth. Nagas were divided into various pockets by the Britishers in order to promote their interests under the principle of “DIVIDE AND RULE” in guise of administrative convenience. The Nagas are the victims of this devil scheme.
The Naga people expect that every Naga political organization will uphold the traditional boundaries by redrawing the artificial boundaries demarcated by the foreigners against the will and wishes of the Nagas, but it is very sad and disheartening to notice that the NSCN(K) are trying to divide more Nagas into pieces to please outsider at the cost of Naga interest which is least expected.
It may be reminded to all that the Nagas from the present state of Nagaland were either Assam Nagas or NEFA Nagas prior to 1st December, 1963. In other words we became a Naga of Nagaland after the creation of statehood after carving out Naga inhabited areas from Assam and NEFA. The present districts of Mon, Tuensang, Kiphire and Longleng were under NEFA, and Kohima and Mokokchung were under Assam. It is therefore unthinkable and wrong to consider that our bloods are thinker than that of elsewhere Naga. It is high time that the culture of false pride and holier-than-thou attitude is no more valid in this fast changing and global village.
It is pertinent to mention that the political statements of NSCN(K) invariably indicate that “NAGALAND FOR CHRIST” is confined within the four walls of present state of Nagaland and as such opposed tooth and nail Naga unification and integration of continuous Naga inhabited areas to be united under single administration violates the principle of Naga nationalism propounded by the father of Naga nation A.Z. Phizo. Late Dr. A.Z. Phizo has laid the foundation of NAGA SOVEREIGNTY under the umbrella of NAGA NATIONAL COUNCIL (NNC). Therefore laying of another new foundation deviates from the original principle to suit the interest of the enemies are futile exercise and desist from doing all sort of activities to please the enemies.
In the interest of Naga nationalism each individuals should restrain themselves from becoming friendly instruments of the enemies who are behind wolf in black sheep to destroy the social fabric of Nagaism and Naga nationalism. The enemies will not be friends forever, they will be your friends to serve their selfish ends and thereafter they will vanish like a bubble in the air, but your brothers whom you consider as your enemies will be your friends forever. Try to distinguish true and false friends before it is too late or else commit political suicide and remain in the dark side of Naga political history. Your quit notice to Tangkhuls at the most served the interest of Delhi and Meiteis and therefore for Christ withdraw and forgive them in the name of Jesus Christ.
