In the interest of the citizens of Peren district, it is for one and all concerned that: Whereas, the poor farmers at the expense of their livelihood had given away their prized possession so that the dream of a model township is materialized in reality, it is a dismay to see that unscrupulous characters have found their way into the monetary chamber via the political route by simply white washing development. It is also a sad thing to note that the snail paced development at the New District Headquarter site of Peren District is being carried out by workman of the lowest rank using lowest quality materials.
Therefore as was personally intimated to the contractors earlier, contractors and all concerned people are to treat this as final notice and work according to Government specifications using specified quality materials in all the developmental works. Failing to comply to this notification, the next notification will be closure of your projects in the site and the burnt felt by your laborers for your misdeeds and the department concerned will be blamed for its negligence.
The General public of the villages and towns neighboring the New District Headquarters site including Contractors and Sub-contractors are once again notified that although the Land is given away for development of the Model Township, the land has an Ancestral owner i.e. Old Peren, New Peren and Kejanglwa villages. Therefore, the owners will not remain mute spectators to the random destruction of the Flora and Fauna of the land. Contractors are also to note that before the commencement of any developmental works in plantation areas and terrace fields, the landowners be notified in advance or else full amount of compensation for the planted trees and terraced land shall be realized from the responsible contractors and no mediation whatsoever shall be entertained.
